House of Hope Calvary Christian Centre dance ministry began on the 31st of August 2008 with a view to enlighten and recruit people to a ministry which will minister onto individuals and worship God with their whole being. In the book of Psalm it says David dance before the Lord. Dance was an integral part of celebration of the ancient Isrealites. It was used both in worship in ordinary life and on occasions of triumphant victory and festivities.

King David is known in the bible for his praise and worship in 2 Samuel 6:14 it says:
‘And David danced before the Lord with all his might’. This is when he brought the Ark of the Convenant into Jerusalem.

Calvary Christian Centre dance ministry is dedicated to use dance and creative movement as an expression of biblical Christian faith. A physical expression of praise, thanksgiving and joy to Elohim(GOD). Our aim is to use dance to minister to the body of Christ. The only requirement to be a praise dancer is a willingness to be empty of self, so that you can be full of Him. Talents or abilities aren’t requirements, just a heart that truly wants to worship the Lord in dance.
